Silver Stacking Rings 24th November 2018
“In this one-day workshop tutor Kirsten Hendrich will teach you a variety of jewellery techniques including soldering, texturing, oxidising and polishing.
You will have the freedom to experiment with a wide range of tools to design and make a beautiful set of silver stacking rings. This session is suitable for complete beginners and for those with jewellery making experience. It is advised you wear old clothing or bring along an apron.”

Number of students per session: 12 maximum
Term length: 10-13 weeks
Beginners:
On your first session I will introduce you to the tools, some basic techniques, and discuss your ideas for the term. I will advise you on where to purchase materials and what you will need for your project. Jewellery is personal, and everybody sets out with different goals and aims, our classes therefore run on a flexible basis whereby you choose what you want to make and you design your own work. I am always on hand to assist you and run demonstrations to support your learning.
We have a lovely learning environment with students attending with a wide range of experience. We all share ideas and assist each other during projects. It is a great supportive atmosphere for those starting out or looking to develop their existing skills.
Advanced:
Those with experience are able to design and make their own projects with assistance as and when needed. I run demonstrations regularly, bringing in new jewellery making techniques for those looking to develop their skill set.
We have a range of equipment to create your designs. Whether you want to make gifts, refine a particular skill, or develop collections to sell and then go on to the create of your own business, our sessions provide a great creative atmosphere where we share ideas and tips, and make a wide range of unique pieces.
Materials:
The cost of this course does not include materials, during the first session I will advise you about suppliers and what materials will be required to complete your project. You can always contact me prior to the term commencing to discuss your project ideas so you can plan what you might wish to order in advance of the term commencing.
