Valiant Chain (Oxidised Silver)

This piece is completely handmade by Kirsten in her Surrey workshop. Each link is crafted creating a completely original piece, no two chains are ever the same. The statement links make a real impact. This bold necklace is handcrafted using heating techniques and lost wax casting.

This design is based upon lost treasures, re-discovered years later. Kirsten is often inspired by her surroundings, and on one of her daily dog walks, discovered an old rusty twisted key half buried in the ground. She was fascinated by the unusual textures and the shape it had become. It had become completely altered by nature over time, this idea was developed at her workbench, and became the basis for her whole 'Eroded' collection.
