A beautiful silver brooch inspired by wild poppies. It has been handcrafted using heating techniques which have allowed the silver to be gently textured. A unique contemporary piece.

CARE GUIDE:
Jewellery inevitably becomes marked, dirty and scratched over time, especially those pieces which are worn everyday. Silver can oxidise over time (tarnish/turn black). There are a few steps you can take to restore or avoid this. You can clean your jewellery with washing up liquid and a soft brush, or purchase silver polish; there are various different brands available. It is recommended you keep you jewellery boxed and protected when it is not being worn, which will also help prevent against oxidising.
Please also be aware that a small amount of people can react to silver. Most commonly turning the skin black in a similar way that copper can turn your skin green.
Our jewellery is sold with a variety of finishes. These finishes will wear off over time. Matt surfaces become polished the more a piece is worn, and oxidised and gold plated surfaces will gradually return to a silver colour on raised surfaces. Please note this will happen the more a piece is worn, and will be a faster process on rings than earrings due to more exposure and wear. Products with patination (oxidising/gold plating etc) on a textures surface differ, the sunken areas within a texture are protected by the raised areas and will not wear off.
