The starfish were sourced from Dartmouth, by Donna on her travels and cast. Working directly from nature itself allows every detail of the real starfish to be achieved. The starfish is attached to Kirsten’s Eroded chain in a variety of lengths and finishes. The chains texture is based upon lost treasures which have altered over time, sculpted by surrounding nature. Kirsten handcrafts each of her chain links allowing each to be personal and unique.

Seaweed Pendant On Short Eroded Chain
The curly pendants are inspired by seaweed that has dried in the sun. Being however too thin to cast Donna found that pot purri offered a great solution; you can see the growth structure marks through the twists and turns of the piece. It is thicker than seaweed, tactile and soft to touch and hold. The seaweed is suspended from Kirsten's Eroded short chain from a large statement centre link. Kirsten lovingly handcrafts each chain link which makes her chains completely unqiue from each other and personal.

Limpet Pendant Short Length Chain
The Limpets are sourced from where Donna grew up in Kingswear at the mouth of the river Dart in Devon. They are one of the most instantly recognizable shells found on our British beaches. Kingswear has very few varieties of shell yet lots of these holed limpets are scattered along the beach. Donna chose a big shell to cast, with sea tumbled soft rounded edges, good to hold, and very tactile. The Limpet it suspended from Kirsten’s Eroded chain based upon lost treasures manipulated by the nature surrounding it causing varied textures. Each chain link is lovingly handcrafted and textured creating unique pieces.
